THE IMAGE CAPTURES AND THE ARCHITECTURE

"The appearance of architecture does not remain static, its impression and meaning evolves with the progression of human activity"




The "movement" of form through the interlocking of shapes creates a "flow of energy". This reflects the dynamic nature of human activity which influences their individual interpretation of architecture.






The waiting areas are the only spaces that serve a common purpose amongst all people- to relax and wait. The lack of human activity limits the power of architecture to influence and evoke a personal response.



The meaning of the tram stop changes throughout the day. During the day, people arrive at the stop and perceive it as more "welcoming". At night, people mainly perceive the stop as a "gesture of farewell" as they prepare to head home.
